  1. That is not Robert Roche! That’s me. I consider that an insult.

  5. Thanks everyone. I really don’t like being associated with a convicted embezzler. If people would do their research they would find that back in 1998 the Native community here in Cleveland and Ohio in general, sent out a press release denouncing Robert Roche as a community leader. And if they looked into his background via the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts website under Civil Cases, they would get a real education on Bob.

    • The Plain Press received a scan of a press release from Robert Roche and Philip Yenyo signed by both parties and dated 11/17/2016. The retyped letter appears below:

Robert Roche and Philip Yenyo have resolved the claims each filed in Roche v Yenyo, Case No. 84607 in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, before Judge Michael Jackson. The following is a summary of the public terms of the agreement.

A.) In amicably settling this case, Philip Yenyo retracts several fails statements made about Robert Roche to wit:

I, Philip J. Yenyo, want to correct and retract several statements I previously made about or concerning Robert “Bob” Roche:
1.) I wrongly believed and retract statements that Robert “Bob” Roche was legally known by names other than “Robert Roche”. I have seen his birth certificate and his legal name is Robert Roche.
2.) I wrongly believed and retract any written and oral statements that I made that Robert Roche was a “convicted embezzler”. That statement is false. I have reviewed court records and Robert Roche is not and never has been a “convicted embezzler.”

B.) Both Parties agree they will not personally challenge the Native American heritage of the other or personally disparate each other or the other’s family in the future.

      C. The Parties disagree concerning the authenticity of a letter dated August 27, 1997.
