Vacant house on the corner of Winimac and W. 54th

PHOTO BY CHUCK HOVEN Saturday, April 23, 2016; Winimac between W. 54th and W. 55th Place (just South of Clark Avenue): The area behind a vacant house on the corner of Winimac and W. 54th has become a dumping ground. The house is located in a section of Stockyard neighborhood that is located in Ward 3. A neighborhood resident worried about danger the empty house and debris filled yard present to area children has informed a staff member of the Stockyard, Clark Fulton Brooklyn Centre Community Development Office of the problem. The staff member promised to notify the city of Cleveland about the dumping problem and hopes that new funds for demolishing houses will help facilitate removal of the vacant house as well.
