Rally to Stop the Dakota Access Pipeline


PHOTO BY CHUCK HOVEN Tuesday, September 13, 2016; Rally to Stop the Dakota Access Pipeline, W. 25th and Lorain Avenue: Seventy Clevelanders joined in a nationwide protest in solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux Nation, to stop Energy Transfer Partners from building a pipeline carrying fracked oil under the Missouri River and across four states. The Standing Rock Sioux Nation says the route of the pipeline crosses under the Missouri just upstream from sacred land and water of their communities.
